I enjoyed reading this story about Guillaume d'Anzeray and his seven sons who are all part of The Dark Dynasty. It would seem that Guillaume is dying and he wants his seven sons to go out and get wives so they can reproduce, and build the dynasty so it doesn't die. You see all the sons are battle warriors and they higher out to the different Barons around the country side and protect their property for money. Alonso "Blackheart" d'Anzeray is the fourth oldest son and he's working for Baron Louvet out in the country, and making large amounts of money protecting the Baron's Provence. After pillaging the local Provence's he goes back to the Baron's estate to five him an update, while their he's invited to dinner where he again meets the Barons wife Lady Isobel Bressamge. According to the Baron she's a witch, because she's unable to get pregnant after seven months, and she has a doll that looks like him and she pokes pins in it. The real problem is the Baron can't keep it up, and has not been able to break the maiden head of his wife, there-fore she is still a virgin and will never be able to supple the Baron with children. Anyway, after the Baron gets royally drunk he decides he needs another strapping young lad to sire a son, so he picks Blackheart to take his wife. Read this book because it will make you laugh, cry and cum a lot. The author did a great job portraying the seven son's as being dastardly and dangerous, and of course sharing their spouse's made them even more evil and vial. This book is only about a woman that can not conceive, and I would not think that anyone should read this. The plot is sex period. Would not recommend this book to anyone who is not into this sort of plot.
this was great it had characters that you wont forget scenes described that you can beleive your right there. i loved the hero he was so alpha strong but so sexy and really cared for his lady. the sex was incredible i wish this book was longer because this wa so good.
I love the fact the Alonso turned into such a sap for her, when he originally just lusted after her, and how she fell for him cuz he........well at first cuz he gave her an orgasm ;) I also liked that they just got spend there time away from the other brothers for the most part, it let them build there own relationship.
Honestly, I don't know why these Georgia Fox books don't get more reviews. They are really great short-historic-erotica stories. They have some incredibly erotic group sex scenes in them. The only thing that could potentially be off-putting to a potential reader is that the brothers share wives, which is kind of gross, but if you put it out of your mind that they're brothers, these are great, steamy reads. My hubby loves it when I read one of these books before turning in for the night.
This is a book about a married man who has tremendous trouble taking his new wife's virginity and essentially begetting his heirs out of her. After mulling it over, Baron Louvet decided to provide a stud for his wife, Isobel by way of using one of the men under his command - Alonso d'Anzeray who proved later on, that the experience was to be an enjoyable. The plot is pretty predictable but fun, judging from Georgia Fox's other books in the Seven Brides for Seven Bastards series. Be prepared for sizzling love scenes and a great introduction to Alonso's other brothers who ended up being her other husbands. Highly recommended.
